PRAYER REQUESTS – January 30, 2007

“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer” – Romans 12:12

For our world leaders and military personnel:

Please pray for peace; pray that this is the year that our soldiers come home, safe, sound, and sane.

Healing prayers for Maydean Spano:

Feel down in her garage and hurt her back.  Had to have some surgery.  Looking at a long recovery.  Currently in Rm. 507 of Oakhurst Rehab.  Pray for her daughter, Shiela, who is watching over her and caring for her.

Continued prayers for George and Rose Marvin:

            Experiencing health and personal problems in their lives right now

Continued prayers for healing and faith for James and Lynn Stogner (and Lynn’s daughter, Alicia):

Continuing prayer for James and Lynn and Alicia.  James has been suffering from liver cancer for some time now.  His wife, Lynn, that God will give her strength and faith and courage to face the trials ahead (both with her health and her husband).  Pray for strength and faith for Alicia, who also needs a good job. 

Prayers for George Lankford:

He is going to have a pace maker and defribrillator put in on Wednesday, Jan. 23^rd at 10 a.m., Munroe Regional.

Hearing came back.  Cat disappeared and then came home with injury.

Continued prayer for Evelyn Turner

She has been struggling with serious health issues for the past year (particularly in regards to her lungs and breathing).  Celebrated her birthday recently.

Continued prayer for Jim Brown -- Facing cancer surgery in early January.

Continued prayer for Ron Pike:

His health has been failing over the past few years.  Now needs oxygen and is being tested for possible lung transplant.

Continued prayer for Marie Pike:

Suffers from periodic bouts of depression.  Suffering a severe bout now.  Medicine she’s on now seems to be working.  Travel mercies.  Visiting a long-time friend in Ohio.   Pray for Gordon Pike, Sr., as he cares for her.

Continued prayer for Mike Rearic and Ruth Gililland – lungs problems.

Those who are in hospitals, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities:
